Sonic Spinball (Sega Game Gear)

Sonic Spinball is a unique hybrid of pinball and platformer in which Sonic literally turns into a pinball. The original version for the Sega Mega Drive came out in 1993, and the Game Gear port followed in 1994.

Dr. Robotnik has built a giant fortress inside a volcano, where he turns animals into robots. Sonic has to get through its pinball tables, collect the Chaos Emeralds and defeat the boss of each level.

Use the flippers to launch Sonic, hit bumpers and targets, and find the hidden passages. The game is quite hard, but it is an original twist on the series.
