Sonic Blast (Sega Game Gear)

Sonic Blast is one of the last original Sonic platformers for the Sega Game Gear, released in 1996. It is notable for its attempt to use pseudo-3D graphics with pre-rendered sprites, an unusual approach for a handheld at the time.

Two characters are available, Sonic and Knuckles, each with his own abilities: Sonic can double jump with a special move, while Knuckles can glide and climb walls.

Dr. Robotnik is once again after the Chaos Emeralds, and you have to stop him in five zones. Collect rings, find the special stages and win the emeralds to see the good ending.
