Wario Land 2: Nusumareta Zaihou

Wario Land 2: Nusumareta Zaihou is the Japanese version of Wario Land II, one of the best platformers for the Game Boy Color, released in 1998.

Wario, Mario's greedy rival, is the hero this time: his treasure has been stolen by Captain Syrup and her pirates, and he sets out to get it back. Wario cannot lose a life. Instead, enemies transform him: he can catch fire, get flattened or become fat, and each form helps him solve puzzles.

The story branches with many paths and endings. The game is in Japanese, but it is easy to play.
