Wario Land II
Wario Land II About this game: Wario Land II is a brilliant Nintendo platformer released for the Game Boy in 1998 and later in color for the Game Boy Color. It takes a completely different approach to the genre than the Mario games. Captain Syrup and her pirates have stolen Wario's treasure, and the greedy anti-hero sets out to get it back. The key feature is that Wario cannot lose a life. Instead, enemies transform him: fire sets him ablaze, a bite makes him fat, a hammer flattens him, and each transformation helps him solve puzzles and reach new places. The story branches, with many paths and endings, so there is a lot to discover. It is one of the best handheld platformers ever made. Add to favorites |
