The Jungle Book

The Jungle Book is a bright platformer released in 1994 on the wave of the huge success of the Disney animated film. The game takes you into the dense jungles of India and tells the story of Mowgli, a boy raised by animals who has to escape from the cunning tiger Shere Khan.

This is not just a quick licensed product. The developers at Eurocom created a full adventure with varied levels, memorable music and characters every fan of the cartoon will recognise. Following the film, Mowgli has to make his way back to the man village before Shere Khan catches him, meeting Baloo, Bagheera, Kaa and King Louie along the way.

The jungle is a dangerous place for a small boy, but Mowgli is used to it. He swings on vines, throws bananas at enemies and collects gems hidden around the levels. Good graphics and sound for an 8-bit console and a fair challenge make it popular to this day.
