Kirby Super Star

Kirby Super Star is a classic game for the Super Nintendo (SNES) released in 1996. You control Kirby, a pink puffball who can swallow enemies and copy their abilities.

Instead of one long adventure, the game is a collection of several separate games and modes, each with its own gameplay and goals. There are classic platforming adventures such as Spring Breeze, Dyna Blade, The Great Cave Offensive and Revenge of Meta Knight, as well as quick mini-games like Samurai Kirby and Megaton Punch, where you compete against the computer or a friend.

Copying abilities is at the heart of the game: by swallowing an enemy, Kirby gains new attacks, from swords and fire to ice and beams. You can even turn a copy ability into a helper character, which a second player can control in co-op. The graphics are bright and colorful, and the game is a delight from start to finish.
