Donkey Kong Country

Donkey Kong Country is a classic platformer released for the Super Nintendo (SNES) in 1994. Developed by Rare, it amazed players with its pre-rendered 3D graphics, which looked far ahead of anything else on the console.

The evil King K. Rool and his Kremlings have stolen Donkey Kong's banana hoard, and DK sets off with his little nephew Diddy Kong to get it back. The two Kongs travel together and you can switch between them at any time: Donkey Kong is strong, while Diddy is fast and agile.

You run, jump, swing on vines, blast out of barrel cannons and ride animal friends such as Rambi the rhino. Every level hides bananas, KONG letters and secret bonus rooms, and each world ends with a boss fight. A second player can join in. Great gameplay and David Wise's atmospheric music made Donkey Kong Country one of the best-selling and most loved SNES games.
