Sonic and Knuckles & Sonic 3

Sonic 3 & Knuckles for the Sega Genesis (Mega Drive) combines two games into one large adventure: Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and Sonic & Knuckles. Together they give you 14 zones to complete plus all the bonus and special stages.

You can play as Sonic, Tails or Knuckles, and each character plays differently: Knuckles can glide and climb walls, Tails can fly, and some routes through the levels are only open to a particular hero.

The story picks up after Sonic once again defeats Dr. Robotnik and stops his Death Egg station, which crash-lands on the Floating Island. There Sonic meets Knuckles the echidna, guardian of the island and its Master Emerald. Tricked by Robotnik, Knuckles at first sees Sonic as an enemy, and the two clash several times before they realise who the real villain is. Sonic's story ends with a battle on board the Death Egg, while Knuckles' own story follows him through the same zones as he chases Robotnik's EggRobo and faces Mecha Sonic. Collect all the Chaos Emeralds to see the best ending.

Whether you are discovering it for the first time or reliving your childhood, this is one of the best Sonic games ever made.
