Discovered from a Russian website dedicated to host torrent links to PlayStation games, this version of Vib-Ribbon is notable for replacing the English language with a custom made Russian language, with edited models for the menus. Despite that, it's not a complete translation. Any text that uses the font pool is still in English, and some models are still kept in English, most notably the first third of the how to play cutscene. The translation is also said to be poor, with words loosely meaning what an option is rather than what it really is, and Vibri swearing in the how to play cutscene. Though testing, I've also encountered a bug where the game stutters with frame rate, though I'm not sure if this was an emulator issue, and messing with the menus seemed to fixed it. Everything else however is unchanged from the PAL version.

One issue with this rip is the music. Every track plays for a few seconds too long, meaning that the next few seconds of the upcoming song cut into the current song, thus also making the upcoming song play too late. This gets worse for the later stage, and is at it's worse for the how to play song since that's track 7 on the disc. These issues also effect the gameplay as some obstacles are different even when synced up to a working version. It's not really known if this issue was present on the bootleg or if it was an issue caused by someone ripping the disc. The rip here has been unmodified from the torrent, so it contains this issue. However, you should be able to fix this problem if you edit the .cue file and change the time stamps to match with the proper PAL version (possibly give or take a few milliseconds.)

The .rar file contains the .bin and .cue file of the game, as well as four images. One contains an image of the games PAL front cover art with extra graphic design and Russian text placed on it. The other three showcase the CD jewel case it's self, the front, back and the CD it's self.

If you would rather view a video of this version of the game, then you can watch this video on youtube that explores the game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eYRpGrdJV9w
