Ultimate Mortal Kombat Trilogy for the Sega Genesis is a fan modification based on Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. The official Trilogy was released on PlayStation, Nintendo 64 and PC, and on the Sega it was recreated by fans who added fighters missing from the 16-bit version.
What is in the game
- An extended roster from all three games: Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Kitana, Mileena, Jax, Sonya, Kano and many more.
- Fatalities, Babalities and Friendships, the series' signature finishers.
- Arenas from different Mortal Kombat games.
- Modes: a tournament against the computer and two-player fights.
How to play
Pick a fighter and climb the tower of opponents up to the final bosses. Every fighter has a set of special moves, and at the end of a match, when Finish Him or Finish Her appears on screen, you can perform a finisher.
Controls
The Sega gamepad layout (A, B, C and Start) is shown under the game window, and you can change it in the emulator settings. A gamepad works best, and on a phone an on-screen gamepad appears.
Tips
- Block is a separate button in Mortal Kombat: hold it when the opponent attacks.
- Look up move lists in the Sega cheats section of our site.
- For two players it is more comfortable with two gamepads or over the network with Netplay.
