Mega Man X

Mega Man X is a classic action platformer released by Capcom for the Super Nintendo (SNES) in 1993. It started a new branch of the Mega Man series and won wide acclaim for its gameplay, style and atmosphere.

The story is set in the distant future. X, a new kind of robot created by Dr. Light, fights Sigma, the leader of the rebellious Mavericks who have turned against humanity. As in the original series, you can choose the order of the first eight stages, and every defeated boss gives you a new weapon that is especially effective against another boss.

X is more agile than the classic Mega Man: he can dash and climb walls by kicking off them. Hidden capsules upgrade his armor, and heart tanks and sub tanks extend his health. Fast action, great music and smart level design make Mega Man X one of the best games on the SNES.
