Pokemon Sapphire (Game Boy Color)

Pokemon Sapphire in Game Boy Color format is an unofficial version similar in concept to Pokemon Ruby for the same platform: an attempt to recreate the Hoenn region on the engine of the second generation.

Projects like this reflect the eager anticipation of the third generation of Pokemon in the early 2000s. You catch Pokemon, battle trainers and collect badges.

It is a collector's curiosity for fans of the history of Pokemon hacks.
