King's Bounty

King's Bounty is a classic turn-based strategy game released in 1990 by New World Computing. Thanks to its deep gameplay, challenging quests and fantasy world, it holds a special place in the hearts of many retro gamers and became the forerunner of the Heroes of Might and Magic series.

You play a hero charged with saving the kingdom from chaos and tyranny. To do this, you have to find the stolen Sceptre of Order before time runs out. You recruit an army of fantastic creatures, from knights and archers to dragons, travel across four continents, capture castles and hunt down villains to collect pieces of the map.

Battles are fought on a separate tactical screen, where the right choice and placement of units decides the outcome. It is a true classic of strategy games.
