Pokemon 2000

Pokemon 2000 is one of many pirate games released on the Famicom (NES) under the Pokemon name around the turn of the millennium. It was made to cash in on the huge popularity of the franchise.

As usual for such games, it has little to do with the official Pokemon titles: it is a simple 8-bit game using the famous characters, often Pikachu as the hero.

It is a curious find for fans of strange pirate games and collectors of Pokemon oddities.
