Galaga
Galaga About this game: Galaga is one of the greatest arcade shooters in history, ported to the NES (Dendy) with the console's first wave of games. You control a starfighter at the bottom of the screen and shoot down insect-like aliens that dive at you in waves and recognizable patterns. The main innovation compared with its predecessor Galaxian is the tractor beam: the boss Galaga can capture your ship, but if you then shoot the boss and free it, you get a twin ship with double firepower. Between waves there are challenging stages where enemies fly past in formations without shooting, and destroying them all earns bonus points. Fast-paced and addictive, Galaga is a true classic that is still fun today. Add to favorites |
