Arkanoid

Arkanoid is one of the greatest arcade hits of all time. It took the idea of the classic Breakout to a whole new level and came to the NES (Dendy) in 1987.

You control the Vaus, a paddle that survived the destruction of the mothership Arkanoid. You bounce a ball to break the blocks on each level and destroy the enemies floating around.

Some blocks drop capsules with power-ups: a longer paddle, a laser, a sticky paddle that catches the ball, extra balls and a warp to the next level. Some blocks take several hits, and gold ones cannot be broken at all. At the end, a boss is waiting for you. Arkanoid is easy to learn and very hard to put down.
