Yo! Noid

Yo! Noid is an unusual platformer for the NES (Dendy) based on the Noid, an advertising mascot of the Domino's Pizza chain. It was released by Capcom in 1990.

Despite its marketing origins, the game turned out to be a full and lively platformer with its own style and memorable levels. The Noid in his red suit is armed with a magic yo-yo and races through the streets of New York, fighting the henchmen of his rival who is causing chaos in the city.

Along the way you collect power-ups and magic scrolls for special attacks. At the end of many levels there is a pizza eating contest, played as a simple card game. It is a fun and charming curiosity of the NES era.
