Mario Mania

Mario Mania is an unlicensed ROM hack from the large family of pirate Mario games produced for Asian markets in the early 1990s.

The name Mania hints at the excitement it promised buyers. The game is a platformer based on Super Mario Bros., with changed graphics and levels: Mario runs, jumps on enemies and collects coins on his way to the end of each stage.

It is a curious piece of history from the era of pirate cartridges.
