M.C. Mario

M.C. Mario is an unlicensed ROM hack for the NES (Dendy) that plays on the popularity of the rapper MC Hammer in the early 1990s. The name refers to the fashion for the MC prefix in hip-hop culture of the time.

The game is a modified version of a standard Mario platformer with a changed title screen and some graphics. Mario runs, jumps on enemies, collects coins and heads for the flag.

It is a funny curiosity from the era of pirate cartridges.
