1943: The Battle of Midway
1943: The Battle of Midway About this game: 1943: The Battle of Midway is one of the greatest vertical shooters in NES history, created by Capcom and released in 1988. You pilot a P-38 fighter over the Pacific Ocean during World War II and fight the Japanese fleet. Unlike the earlier 1942, your plane has an energy bar instead of lives, and you can upgrade its abilities between missions. The game is quite hard, but it is a true classic of the genre.
